We've fished these Trak double-handers hard, on rivers at home and chasing anadromous fish further afield, and they hold up. They cast well across every form of modern spey, with the overhead range to cover wider water when you need it.
The reel seat has a robust carbon insert, the AAA cork handle is comfortable in hand and built to last, and the rings are high quality with low-friction stripper guides that keep the line running cleanly.
We've now tried and tested most of the Trak range and have been impressed throughout by the quality. The price is hard to fault - few companies are still making rods this good at this level, which makes them well worth a try.
